If you’ve been to a farmers’ market, pop-up or local event in Columbus recently, chances are you’ve seen Chloe Emmons, the founder of Potion Matcha, whipping up her delicious fruit-infused matcha lattes for the masses.
If you haven’t, then you’ve come to the right place.
Chloe visited my studio the other day with a giant IKEA bag in tow and made the prettiest and tastiest Matcha Colada. I’m so excited to share her recipe with you, because trust me — it’s that good. And it’s incredibly easy to make at home. Turn it into a refreshing cocktail by adding rum, or leave the alcohol out altogether and sip on it at any time of day. Summer just got a little sweeter.
RECIPE: POTION MATCHA’S MATCHA COLADA
Now it’s time to build your drink. Add pineapple juice, rum (if desired) and coconut milk to a tall highball glass. Top with matcha tea and garnish with Maraschino cherries.
Stir all of the flavors together and enjoy!
